"A Safe Harbor to protect against unforeseen events at unexpected times." — Jack J. Maiz, USMC Veteran
Decades of service, expertise, and genuine care — every client relationship is personal.
Jack began his career in financial services in 1983 after a distinguished career in law enforcement. A decorated Vietnam veteran who served as a United States Marine, he spent 43 years building a trusted client base across San Diego and Honolulu before founding Safe Harbor Financial in 2012. He resides in The Villages, FL with his wife of 60 years.
Jack's son Brian joins Safe Harbor from the firm's San Diego office, where he leads Care at 65 — guiding Medicare beneficiaries of every age through Advantage, Supplement, and Part D choices, plus annual plan reviews. Licensed in multiple states, Brian comes to insurance after 20 years in Business Development at Cisco Systems across North Carolina and California, and is a proud United States Marine Veteran. Married to Christina, with two grown children, he resides in Oceanside, CA, and enjoys fishing and travel.
